Matt Bailey is an information technology professional with proven success implementing initiatives that improve business functionality. Last year Matt received two technology and innovation awards with-in his company.

He has over 18 years of experience working in the power industry. His experience ranges from systems infrastructure design, administration of energy control systems to leading efforts to expand the use of  SCADA and IOT data.

Matt has been responsible for ensuring maximum uptime and compliance for the bulk electric system to designing an origination approach for storing PowerGrid data. These systems span across four regions and 12 states. He is passionate about leading groups to success. Mr. Bailey has completed a yearlong program with the Colorado Leadership Development Program.

He holds his Lean Six Sigma Green belt. Using these skills he has saved the organization over $250,000 in cost avoidance. Mr. Bailey continues to bring value to the department by evaluating processes and eliminating waste.

Matt graduated from Regis University with a bachelor’s degree in computer science. Matt has worked with many startup companies offering expertise in all things tech. Projects have ranged from application design and protypes,  infrastructure design,  video production, airport data improvements to irrigation control systems.
